KEY OBJECTIVE OF A SUCCESSFUL COATING SYSTEM
A proper coating system prevents a pipeline from corrosion and gives good mechanical protection, granting a long service-live. Raw materials producers must develop products which minimise the risk of damage to the polyolefin layer during application of the coating and storage, transportation, installation, and through the operational lifetime of the pipeline.
